The 91.7 km long Finnewanderweg is a long-distance hiking trail in central Germany . It leads from Weißenfels in Saxony-Anhalt along the Saale - Unstrut valley over the ridge of the Finns and the Hohe Schrecke to the breakthrough valley of the Unstrut in Sachsenburg in Thuringia , which is also known as the Thuringian Gate . There it is continued as the Hainleitewanderweg .

1st stage: Weißenfels - Naumburg (17km)

2nd stage: Naumburg - Bad Kösen / Himmelreich (16km)

3rd stage: Bad Kösen - Marienthal (16km)

4th stage: Marienthal - Rastenberg (14km)

5th stage: Rastenberg - Burgwend (15km)

6th stage: Burgwend - Sachsenburg (13km)
