Flavio Stückemann (born April 3, 1985 in São Paulo , Brazil ) is a German basketball player . During his career he played for Braunschweig, Quakenbrück, Vechta and Bremerhaven in the basketball league .

Career

Stückemann was born in Brazil and moved to Germany with his family when he was two years old. He grew up in Bramsche and played in the youth division for the regional league team TuS Bramsche . Already in the youth field he switched to the Artland Dragons , or rather the cooperation partner of the Dragons, TSV Quakenbrück . In 2002 he joined the Phantoms Braunschweig and already played here in the BBL. In 2008 he moved back to the Artland Dragons. After a year with BG Karlsruhe , Stückemann signed a contract for the 2011/2012 season with SC Rasta Vechta in May 2011 .

After relegation from the Bundesliga with Vechta in 2013/2014, Stückemann left the club and moved to Eisbären Bremerhaven . Following the 2014/15 season, he retired to the 1st Regional League for TV Ibbenbüren and made the move to the Itzehoe Eagles (2nd Bundesliga ProB) during the 2015/16 season. After the 2016/17 season he ended his playing career, but stayed with Itzehoer basketball as the sports director of the youth academy. In summer 2018 he returned to Itzehoe's team. In the 2019/20 game year, he and Itzehoe won the ProB-Nord championship of the season that ended early in mid-March 2020 due to the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus . Stückemann contributed an average of 9.4 points and 4.7 basket assists per game to this success.
