Flight of the Conchords is a music comedy duo from New Zealand consisting of Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement . They achieved great fame in 2004 with their BBC radio show and in 2007 with the television series Flight of the Conchords on the American TV channel HBO .
Career
In 2005 they won "Best Alternative Comedy Act" at the US Comedy Arts Festival and "Best Newcomer" at the Melbourne Comedy Festival . In 2003 they were nominated for the Perrier Comedy Award at the Edinburgh Fringe . Bret McKenzie won an Oscar for the score for The Muppets at the 2012 Academy Awards .
