Zé Vitor (born February 11, 1982 in Funchal ; real life José Vitor Jardim Vieira ) is a former football player with Portuguese nationality.

Zé Vitor started his professional career in 2005 with the Portuguese first division club Nacional Funchal , where he played with Diego Benaglio , the current goalkeeper of the Swiss national team, among others . He had launched his career in previous years with local rivals Marítimo Funchal as well as CSD Câmara de Lobos and AD Machico, also on his home island Madeira .

In January 2008 he left Portugal and moved to the Swiss first division club FC St. Gallen . There he fought for a regular place in the first team in the following games under coach Krassimir Balakow . After 15 missions and three goals in the second half of the 2007/08 season , however, he and his team were relegated to the Challenge League .

Under Balakow's successor Uli Forte , Zé Vitor received less and less playing time during the 2008/09 season. In the 2009/10 season he was a regular on the right wing. He played consistently and had his feet in almost every goal of the FCSG.

Since July 2010, Zé Vitor played for the Cypriot first division club AEL Limassol . Before his move, he had a falling out with St. Gallen's trainer Uli Forte, who did not want to extend his contract due to lack of discipline. In the summer of 2011, his contract with AEL was not renewed. He was without a club for six months before joining Apollon Limassol in early 2012 . There he first came on as a substitute, but later became a regular. In August 2012 he moved to Veria FC in the Greek Super League . After seven appearances, he left the club in early 2013 and returned to Enosis Neon Paralimni in Cyprus.

In the summer of 2013, Zé Vitor joined União Madeira , who played in the Segunda Liga . At the beginning of 2014 he moved again to Cyprus, where he played in the second division until 2016 before ending his career.
