Florent Emilio Siri
Florent-Emilio Siri (born March 2, 1965 in Saint-Avold , Lorraine , France ) is a French film director and screenwriter .
Life
Florent-Emilio Siri was born the son of an Italian who worked in Freyming-Merlebach . He studied at the Sorbonne , at the École supérieure de réalisation audiovisuelle , where he learned his trade under Jean-François Tarnowski and Eric Rohmer , and graduated in 1988. With the drama End of Patience , Siri made his debut as both a director and screenwriter in 1998. The story of the industrial worker Marek, played by Benoît Magimel , pays homage to his father. Between 1991 and 2000, Siri also distinguished himself as a director for over 30 music videos. After his second film, the action thriller The Deadly Wasp's Nest , was released in 2002 , he was commissioned to direct the Hollywood thriller Hostage . In this story, the character of Jeff Talley, played by Bruce Willis , frees his children from hostage.
