Floris van Rekom (born May 8, 1991 in Apeldoorn ) is a Dutch volleyball player .

Career

Van Rekom started his career at Sliedrecht Sport in 2008 . After a year he moved to Dynamo Apeldoorn . With the club, the outside attacker won the cup and championship double in 2010 and the cup again in 2011. With the Dutch national team , he won the Europa League in 2012 . He then moved to the Italian first division club Sir Safety Perugia . In the 2013/14 season he played for VC Argex Duvel Puurs and the following year for the Belgian club Topvolley Antwerp . In 2015 he moved to the French first division club Nantes Rezé Métropole Volley. In the 2018/19 season he was active with league competitor Tours Volley-Ball . With Tours he won the French Cup and the championship. He then moved to the German Bundesliga club United Volleys Frankfurt .
