Floyd Mayweather Sr.
Floyd Mayweather Sr. (born October 19, 1952 in Amory , Mississippi ) is a retired American boxer and now boxing coach. He is the father and current coach of his son Floyd Mayweather Jr. , older brother of two-time world champion Roger Mayweather , and uncle of Jeff Mayweather , the former world champion of the insignificant association IBO .
As a trainer, Mayweather Sr. is now widely regarded as one of the best. He trained Óscar de la Hoya , Joan Guzman , Chad Dawson , Ricky Hatton , Vernon Paris and Chris Eubank Jr , among others .
