The Cambridge Bay Airport ( IATA: YCB ; ICAO: CycB ) is located near Cambridge Bay , Nunavut , and is operated by the government of the territory Nunavut.
In December 2005 it was announced that the Nunavut government was planning to spend CAD 18 million to pave the runway.
On May 14, 2008, the Nunavut Prime Minister issued a press release stating that the runway would be expanded and extended over the next three years.
