The Portorož Airport ( Slovenian : Aerodrom Portorož ) is a regional airport on the Adriatic coast in Slovenia . The airport is the home base of the Solinair .
Geographical location
The airport is located near the village of Sečovlje in the municipality of Piran . The border with Croatia runs just under a kilometer south . The eponymous tourist resort Portorož is about 6 kilometers away. The Sečovlje salt pans are right next to the airport .
Infrastructure
The airport is about two meters above sea level , the area of the runway is 1200 × 30 meters (in the direction of flight 15-33) and is equipped with lighting for night landings. The airport has modern technical equipment and offers flights to order ( Avio-Taxi ), business flights, panoramic flights, a flight school, parachuting, transfers by minibus, accommodation reservations, a restaurant and car rentals.
