Flight technical working group

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Flugtechnische Arbeitsgemeinschaft (FAG) was the unified name of the flying groups at the German engineering schools from 1934 to 1945. The FAGs offered students the opportunity to design, build and fly aircraft.

The FAGs, as well as the Aviation Technical Groups (FFG) of the technical universities, were looked after by the German Aviation Research Institute (DVL). With ample funding, this meant extensive freedom from political indoctrination.
