Flurina Volken (born September 7, 1993 ) is a Swiss biathlete and former cross-country skier .

Flurina Volken starts for SC Obergoms . Initially, since the end of 2009, she has competed in junior and FIS cross-country skiing races . She achieved her greatest success in the sport at the Swiss Junior Championships, where she was third in the freestyle sprint behind Patricia Jost and Christa Jäger . Since the 2012/13 season she has also started in biathlon, initially parallel to cross-country skiing, and since the 2013/14 season exclusively. In 2013 Volken took part in their first Biathlon Junior World Championships in Obertilliach and achieved a 43rd place in the individual as the best place. A year later in Presque Isle she was 33rd of the individual, 27th of the sprint, 37th of the pursuit and seventh in the relay with Lena Häcki and Patricia Jost. She achieved better placings in the junior races of the 2014 European Biathlon Championships in Nové Město na Moravě . In the individual she was 37th, 17th in the sprint and 19th in the pursuit race.

Since 2012, Volken has also taken part in women's races. She made her debut in the IBU Cup in Ridnaun and immediately won points as the 35th in a sprint race. She was able to improve her best performance to eleventh place in a sprint in Ruhpolding by 2014 . At the start of the 2014/15 season , Volken competed in her first race in the Biathlon World Cup . In Östersund she was 84th in the individual and 90th in the sprint race. While the result in the individual remained the best result in an individual race so far, she was able to achieve a single-digit position for the first time in Antholz 2015 with Aita and Elisa Gasparin as well as Lena Häcki as the final runner of the Swiss team in the relay race as eighth place in her third relay operation. It was the best placement of a Swiss women's relay ever in the World Cup.
