Flood (proper spelling: FLOOD ) is a five-member Austrian rock - band from Vienna .

history

The four band members Johannes Paulusberger, Sebastian and Florian Voglmayr and Manuel Hauer come from Andorf , Jakob Herber from Ried im Traunkreis .

During their youth in rural areas, the band began making music and making VHS-style video films together. After finishing school, the individual members moved to Vienna, where they attracted the attention of the local scene as a result of several appearances.

The first single Tiefschlaf was released in September 2016. In March 2017, the Nachtschicht EP was released via the indie label Problembär Records. The video for the single Linz bei Nacht was nominated for the Austrian Music Video Prize 2017. The debut album Global was released on October 5, 2018 .
