Folhadosa is a locality and former municipality in Portugal .
history
In the registers from 1320 Folhadosa was already listed as a village of the Seia municipality. At least since 1602 it was an independent municipality. Folhadosa has been part of Sandomil County since then . Since its dissolution in 1855, it has belonged to Seia.
With the territorial reform in 2013, the municipality was dissolved and merged with Torrozelo to form a new municipality.

Folhadosa was a parish ( freguesia ) in the district ( concelho ) of Seia , in the district of Guarda . On June 30, 2011 the community had 327 inhabitants on an area of 3.7 km².
In the course of the administrative reorganization in Portugal , the municipality was dissolved on September 29, 2013 and merged with Torrozelo to form the new municipality União das Freguesias de Torrozelo e Folhadosa . The seat of the municipality became Torrozelo, while the municipal administration in Folhadosa remained as a citizens' office.
