Fonteius
Fonteius was the name ( nomen gentile ) of a plebeian family in ancient Rome, the gens Fonteia . Outside of Rome, members of the family are found mainly in Etruria and Tusculum . In the 1st century BC Fonteii came to senatorial offices, at the end of the republic to the consulate for the first time .
