The Forestier Peninsula (English: Forestier Peninsula ) is a peninsula in the southeast of the Australian island of Tasmania , which is about 60 km east of Hobart .
It is connected to the main island of Tasmania on the East Bay Neck in the northwest of the peninsula, near the settlement of Dunalley . At the Eaglehawk Neck in the south, the Forestier Peninsula is connected to the Tasman Peninsula .
The Forestier Peninsula extends over approx. 20 km in a north-south direction and over approx. 15 km in an east-west direction. It belongs to the Local Government Area Tasman Municipality .
The northern part of Tasman National Park extends on the east coast of the peninsula around Cape Surville . The Arthur Highway (A9) crosses them on the way to the Tasman Peninsula.
