Fowler Knoll is a striking, snow-covered and 2,465 m high hill in the West Antarctic Ellsworthland . With a steep cliff on the south side, it rises in the west-central part of the Havola Escarpment .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1958 to 1961. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1962 after Chief Warrant Officer George W. Fowler of the United States Army , a participant in the Tractors carried the traverse from Byrd Station to Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station between December 1960 and January 1961, which passed this hill on December 25, 1960.
