At the beginning of his career, Alexandre Müller played almost exclusively tournaments on the third-rate ITF Future Tour , on which he has won four singles and six doubles titles so far. It wasn't until 2017 that he appeared regularly at tournaments on the ATP Challenger Tour .
Müller came to his Grand Slam premiere in 2017 at the French Open . He received a wild card for the individual field, where he met Brazilian Thiago Monteiro in the first round . After more than three and a half hours, he had to admit defeat in five sentences. In July 2017 he achieved his best result in the world rankings with the 302nd place .
