The Frödisch or the Frödischbach is an approx. 12 kilometer long mountain wild brook, rich in debris, which flows westward from the Hoher Freschen through the wooded, uninhabited Frödisch valley and flows into the Frutz near Sulz in the Feldkirch district .

On the upper and middle reaches the Frödisch is a largely untouched and natural body of water. The underflow is built against the risk of flooding by dams.

Until 1971 the Frödisch was used for the wood drift . The water room (a small artificial reservoir) required for drifting has been preserved on the upper reaches to this day.
