Güterstrasse 1a (Quedlinburg)
The building Güterstrasse 1a is a listed former power station in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

The plant is located in the Süderstadt district to the south-east of downtown Quedlinburg. The building is registered in the Quedlinburg monument register.
Architecture and history
The power station was built in 1902 based on a design by the Quedlinburg town planning councilor Max Voss . Initially, the plant was designed as a DC power plant. In 1914 it was connected to the Ostharz overland center and with it the transition to three-phase current .
The representative brick building has a facade with a stepped gable in the neo-Gothic style . A machine hall is attached to the administration building. The complex also includes a walled plot of land with fence elements made of cast iron .
