Max Voss

Max Voss (born August 28, 1863 in Essen , † November 14, 1927 in Quedlinburg ) was a German civil engineer and municipal building officer who worked as a town planning officer in Quedlinburg. According to him, in the Quedlinburg about is Bode leading Voss bridge named.

Life

From 1891 Voss worked in Quedlinburg. Under his leadership, the local power station was incorporated into the city's municipal works in 1902. In 1903 he became head of the Quedlinburg civil engineering office . In this role he was responsible for the city's sewer system, which was built from 1907 to 1909 . In 1927 he was involved in the project to build dams on the Rappbode .

In his honor, a footbridge in Quedlinburg was named Vossbrücke. Above the bridge is a pictorial representation of Voss.
