François-Henri Pinault

François-Henri Pinault (born May 28, 1962 in Rennes , Brittany ) is a French manager and son of the well-known billionaire François Pinault . He has also been a member of the board of directors of the Bouygues conglomerate since December 1998 .

Life

He graduated from the École des Hautes Études Commerciales in Paris in 1985 and became General Manager of France Bois Industries in 1989 . In 1997 he took over the post of General Manager of Fnac . On March 21, 2005 he succeeded Serge Weinberg as CEO of the listed company Kering .

Pinault is a member of the Conseil Stratégique des Technologies de l'Information , a body chaired by the French Prime Minister and made up of leading entrepreneurs. The task of the body is to advise the French government on new information technologies.

François-Henri Pinault is married to the actress Salma Hayek . The two have been parents to a daughter since September 2007. Although the termination of the engagement was announced in July 2008, the wedding took place in Paris on February 14, 2009.

Pinault and model Linda Evangelista have a son, Augustin James (born October 11, 2006).

After the Notre-Dame fire in Paris in 2019 , Pinault announced that he and his father would provide 100 million euros through the family holding company to rebuild the cathedral.
