François d'Anglure de Bourlemont (* before 1673; † July 7, 1711 ) was a French clergyman who was Bishop of Pamiers from 1681 to 1685 .

Career

François d'Anglure de Bourlemont was the son of Nicolas, Comte de Bourlemont and Marquis de Buzanzy , (1620–1676) and his wife Anne Thibaud. He was the nephew of two archbishops: Charles-François d'Anglure de Bourlemont and Louis d'Anglure de Bourlemont . Like her, he pursued a career in the church. In 1673 he was appointed abbot of the La Crête monastery . His predecessor was his uncle Charles-François d'Anglure de Bourlemont, who died in 1669.

On July 4, 1681, King Louis XIV appointed him Bishop of Pamiers. Because of a dispute between the king and Pope Innocent XI. at this time regarding the Affaire de la régale he did not receive his papal bull with the confirmation . Thus the bishopric remained officially vacant until 1685 , when François d'Anglure de Bourlemont resigned. As compensation, he was appointed abbot of the Saint-Florent de Saumur monastery . In 1704 there was a dispute between him and the monks from the monastery of La Crête regarding the repair of the monastery buildings after a fire.
