Françoise Saudan (born November 9, 1939 in Lyon , resident in Martigny ) is a Swiss politician ( FDP ).

Saudan studied law and successfully completed his doctorate. Then she worked as an administrator.

In 1985 she was elected to the Grand Council of the Canton of Geneva and in the same year also appointed President of the FDP Geneva. She held the office of president until 1989, the seat of the Grand Council until 1995, since she was elected to the Council of States on December 4th of this year . In 2000/01 she was President of the Council of States . At the 2007 parliamentary elections she has not raced for more.

Saudan is married and has two children. She lives in Chêne-Bougeries .
