Francesco La Rosa

Francesco La Rosa (born December 9, 1926 in Messina , † April 8, 2020 in Milan ) was an Italian football player .

Life

La Rosa grew up in Milan. Between 1949 and 1956 he played in the Italian Serie A , for example for Pro Patria , US Triestina , US Palermo and most recently again Pro Patria.

In 1952 he was a member of the Italian delegation at the Summer Olympics in Helsinki and was used in the soccer tournament in the preliminary round and the round of 16 .

In early April 2020, La Rosa died of the disease in a nursing home in Italy at the age of 93 during the COVID-19 pandemic .
