Francesco Lambiasi (born September 6, 1947 in Bassiano ) is Bishop of Rimini .

Life

Francesco Lambiasi was ordained a priest on September 25, 1971 . Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Anagni-Alatri on March 6, 1999 .

The Cardinal Vicar of the Diocese of Rome and Archpriest of the Lateran Basilica , Camillo Cardinal Ruini , donated him episcopal ordination on May 23 of the same year ; Co - consecrators were Luigi Belloli , Old Bishop of Anagni-Alatri, Domenico Pecile , Bishop Emeritus of Latina-Terracina-Sezze-Priverno , and Giuseppe Petrocchi , Bishop of Latina-Terracina-Sezze-Priverno.

As a motto he chose In nomine Patris . He resigned from his office on June 28, 2002. On July 3, 2007, he was appointed Bishop of Rimini, and on September 15 of the same year he was appointed to the office.
