Francesco Paolo Tosti
Francesco Paolo Tosti (born April 9, 1846 Ortona ( Province of Chieti ), † December 2, 1916 in Rome ) was a popular Italian singer , pianist and composer of his time .
He was tutored by the Italian opera composer Saverio Mercadante and was friends with Enrico Caruso . The Neapolitan folk music owes him many now classic songs.
