Francis Dickoh (born December 12, 1982 in Copenhagen , Denmark ) is a former Ghanaian football player .

Career

Dickoh started his career at the Danish club B.93 Copenhagen . There he made his professional debut. After a good debut, he moved to Farum BK for the following season . After he could not prevail in two years at Farum, Dickoh decided in the summer of 2003 to move to league rivals FC Nordsjælland . There the defensive player established himself and became a top performer. After three years with FCN , the Dutch club FC Utrecht lured him from the Danish Super League to the Eredivisie . The Ghanaian won his first foreign club and was a regular there. In the 2011/12 season he was under contract with the Greek first division club Aris Thessaloniki , where he scored a goal in 15 games as a central defender . In 2013 he played briefly in Belgium for Cercle Bruges . Then he moved on to FC Midtjylland and became Danish champions there in 2015 . In 2016 he first played for SønderjyskE Fodbold and in December he ended his active career without playing for Lillestrøm SK .

National team

Though born in Denmark, Dickoh decided to play for his parents' homeland, the Ghana national team. On November 14, 2005 he made his debut in the dress of the Ghanaians against the Saudi Arabian national soccer team . The following year he was nominated for the 2006 African Championship . However, he was never used. By 2009, dickoh had played a total of 13 games, but he couldn't score a goal.
