Francis Némé Baïssari

Francis Némé Baïssari (born September 18, 1933 in Knat ; † February 24, 2015 ) was auxiliary bishop in Joubbé, Sarba and Jounieh .

Life

Francis Némé Baïssari was ordained a priest on April 8, 1962 . He was at the University of St. Esprit in Kaslik for Doctor of theology doctorate. He was the pastor of Batroun .

Pope John Paul II named him on June 7, 1991 titular bishop of Aradus and auxiliary bishop in Joubbé, Sarba and Jounieh. The Maronite Patriarch of Antioch and the whole Orient, Nasrallah Boutros Sfeir , donated him the episcopal ordination on August 3rd of the same year; Co- consecrators were Roland Aboujaoudé , Auxiliary Bishop in Antioch , and Boutros Gemayel , Archbishop of Cyprus .

On June 11, 2011, Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related retirement. He died on February 24, 2015 at the age of 81.
