Toscana Tour

The Toscana Tour is an international horse show in Arezzo , Italy . It takes place annually between March and April and lasts four to five weeks in total.

Professional riders use the tour to prepare themselves and their horses for the upcoming outdoor season. The tournament weeks are mostly held as CSI 3 *, in 2008 and 2009 the final week was held as CSI 4 *.

The Arezzo Equestrian Center covers 32 hectares, has 3 tournament courts (2 clay and 1 grass court), 3 additional clay courts, an indoor riding arena, 400 fixed boxes and a veterinary station.

As part of the Toscana Tour, the European Youngster Cup , a tournament series for show jumpers up to 25 years of age, took place from 2008 to 2011 . In addition to the Toscana Tour , a stage of the Riders Tour took place on the site in 2004 and 2005 (advertised as CSI 4 *). In the years 2007 to 2009, a CSI 5 * was also held on the area as a stop on the Global Champions Tour , followed directly by the Toscana Tour in 2009.

Final Week Grand Prize

The test is held as a jumping competition with two rounds . The funding varies from year to year, in 2010 and 2012 around € 75,000 was paid out in this examination.
