Francis X. Rocca

Francis X. Rocca , complete: Francis Xavier Rocca , (* 1963 in Washington, DC ) is an American journalist .

Life

Francis X. Rocca is the son of the entrepreneur Marcel X. "Jack" Rocca (1929-2004) and Maria-Luisa Villar Borda; he has two brothers, Lawrence and Maurice (Mo Rocca).

He studied history at Harvard University (Bachelor) and humanities at St. John's College in Annapolis (Master) and Renaissance Studies at Yale University ( Ph.D. ).

Rocca was the editor-in-chief of The American Spectator . He has lived in Rome , Italy since 1999 and works for numerous newspapers and magazines such as The Wall Street Journal , The Times , Forbes , BusinessWeek , The Atlantic Monthly and others.

He mainly publishes on topics of European politics, education, art and culture. He is mainly concerned with issues related to the Holy See. In 2005 he wrote the book "The Next Superpower?" With Rockwell A. Schnabel. released. In 2015 he was the director of the documentary “Voices of Vatican II: Participants Recall the Council”.
