Francisco Lloris y de Borja
Francisco Lloris y de Borja (* 1470 in Valencia , † July 22, 1506 in Rome ) was a cardinal of the Catholic Church .
Life
The nephew of Pope Alexander VI. became bishop of Terni on March 19, 1498 , but renounced the diocese again on April 14, 1499 . Bishop of Die since 1503 , his uncle made him cardinal in pectore on May 31, 1503 and published his name on June 2 of the same year. As a cardinal deacon he was assigned the Church of Santa Sabina , which he exchanged on December 17, 1505 for Santa Maria Nuova . On August 9, 1503, he was elevated to the title of Latin titular patriarch of Constantinople .
