Francois Esterhuizen (born June 9, 1988 ) is a former South African ice hockey player who spent his playing career with the Durban Sharks.

Career

Francois Esterhuizen played his entire career for the Durban Sharks in a regional ice hockey league .

International

In the junior division, Esterhuizen played for the South African youngsters at the U18 World Championships in 2004 and 2006 in Division III and in 2005 in Division II and at the U20 World Championships in Division III in 2005 and 2008 . In the men's national team he played at the World Championships in 2008 and 2010 in Division III. With second place at the 2008 tournament in Luxembourg, he was promoted to Division II behind North Korea .
