Frane Franić (born December 29, 1912 in Kambelovac , Croatia ; † March 17, 2007 in Split ) was Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Split-Makarska .

Life

Frane Franić was ordained a priest in Split on December 25, 1936 . 1950 he was by Pius XII. appointed auxiliary bishop in the Archdiocese of Split-Makarska and appointed titular bishop of Agathopolis . In 1969 he was appointed Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Split-Makarska. In 1988 his resignation was granted by John Paul II .
