Frank Bommersbach

Frank Bommersbach (born June 12, 1963 in Halle / Saale ) is a German politician ( CDU ). From 2006 to 2016 he was a member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt . Since 2018 he has been a member of the state parliament again.

Life and work

In 1983 Frank Bommersbach passed his Abitur, together with his professional qualification as a BMSR mechanic. 1983 to 1986 he did his alternative military service . From 1986 to 1990 he was head of the legal department in the Hohenthurm steam boiler construction. Since then, Frank Bommersbach has held the position of managing director of a car dealership and that of managing director of Bommersbach GbR.

Frank Bommersbach is married and has two children.

Bommersbach has been a member of the CDU since 1994. He is a member of the CDU district council and deputy district chairman.

Bommersbach was a member of the Ostrau municipal council from 1994 to 2009 . From 1994 to June 30, 2007 he was a member of the district council of the Saalkreis . Since July 1, 2007 he has been a member of the district council of the newly formed Saalekreis . He has been a member of the Petersberg Municipal Council since 2010 .

From 2006 to 2016 he was a member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt, into which he entered the 2006 state election as a directly elected member of the constituency of Bad Dürrenberg-Saalkreis . He represents his group in the Committee on Home Affairs and in the Tenth and Twelfth Parliamentary Inquiry Committees. In the state elections in Saxony-Anhalt in 2011 , he defended his direct mandate in the Bad Dürrenberg-Saale district. In 2016, however, he lost to Hans-Thomas Tillschneider of the AfD in the fight for the direct mandate ; as his list position was also insufficient to move in, he left the state parliament. On February 21, 2018, he replaced the resigned Eva Feussner in the state parliament.
