Eva Feußner (born March 12, 1963 in Naumburg ) is a German politician ( CDU ). She was a member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt from 1994 to 2018 and has been State Secretary in the Ministry of Education of the State of Saxony-Anhalt since 2018 .

Life and work

From 1969 to 1977 she attended the polytechnic high school (POS) and then from 1977 to 1981 the extended high school (EOS) , where she obtained her Abitur . From 1981 to 1985 she studied at the Erfurt University of Education and then worked as a teacher at the secondary school in Eckartsberga . Your employment relationship has been suspended since 1999.

Eva Feußner is Catholic, married and has two children.

Politics / party

In 1990 she joined the CDU and held the positions of local association chairwoman, district board member and, since 1994, city councilor in Eckartsberga.

Since the beginning of the second electoral period (1994) Feußner was a member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt and there since 2002 deputy chairwoman of the CDU parliamentary group . In the state parliament she was, among other things, a member of the committee for education, science and culture. After being appointed State Secretary, she left the state parliament on February 19, 2018.

On February 12, 2018 Feußner was appointed as the successor to Edwina Koch-Kupfer as State Secretary in the Ministry of Education of the State of Saxony-Anhalt .
