Frank Carter (born April 27, 1984 ) is a British punk and rock musician .

Life

Frank Carter was born on April 27, 1984. He has two brothers Richard and Steph, both of whom are also musicians. Steph was Frank's bandmate between 2006 and 2011. Richard Carter was the singer in the band Blackhole .

Career

In 2005, Carter formed the hardcore punk band Gallows with other musicians . With this he released the debut album Orchestra of Wolves and Gray Britain in 2006 three years later, as well as a split EP with the band November Coming Fire . Both albums made it into the British album charts . An incident in 2007 involving his brother Richard resulted in a record deal with a major label . After a dispute with the band in 2011, he was kicked out of the band by the other musicians and replaced by Alexisonfire's Wade MacNeil on the microphone.

After his sacking, he founded the alternative rock band Pure Love with Jim Carroll , which was promptly signed a record deal by Vertigo Records and Mercury Records . The debut album Anthems was released in 2013 . The project has been on hold since 2014.

In 2015 he founded the band Frank Carter & the Rattlesnakes , which is musically oriented towards hardcore punk . After a published EP, the debut album Blossom followed in August of the same year via Kobalt Label Services , which entered the British album charts.

music

Gallows have published a few songs about abuse, which fan circles were taken aback. A 2007 article with the UK's The Independent said that while his band was performing in Inverness , he saw his brother being abused by concertgoers. Carter himself had to sit out after a concert accident the day before in Stoke-on-Trent , so that his brother Richard - who was singing at Blackhole himself at the time - stepped in as a musical substitute.

Carter invited concertgoers in his time at Gallows to come on stage and beat him.
