Frank Dietrich inhibitor (* 28. April 1930 in Goyanna (Goiana), Estado de Pernambuco , Brazil ) is a German architect and emeritus professors .

Life

Hemmer spent his school days in Germany until he graduated from high school. After completing his apprenticeship as a carpenter, he studied architecture at the Technical University of Hanover (today Leibniz University of Hanover ); 1957 diploma. This was followed by several years of professional activity in the construction department of the Volkswagen group headquarters , in the planning office of the city of Wolfsburg and in the Gerhard Graubner architectural office in Hanover.

In 1963 he began teaching and researching as Graubner's main assistant in the architecture department at the University of Hanover. This was followed by research on effective building methods for preschool and school buildings under new pedagogical points of view and functional principles. In 1965 he received his doctorate (planning principles for day care centers), in 1969 his habilitation (approaches to renovating the school building), and in 1970 he was appointed university lecturer .

At the same time, he worked in an advisory capacity as an expert for the preparation of the Lower Saxony home guidelines, which came into force in 1967.

In 1975 he was appointed as an adjunct professor, in 1978 he was appointed university professor for the field of building theory and design in the architecture department of the University of Hanover. In 1983 he took part in the establishment of the Institute for Building and Development Planning (together with colleagues Böhme and Wittkau) with a focus on interdisciplinary teaching and research activities and the development of new teaching concepts. In 1988 he was elected dean of the faculty. From 1993 he was appointed as an observer of the registration committee of the Lower Saxony Chamber of Architects . The obligation took place in 1995, the official adoption in 1996.
