Frank De Felitta
Frank De Felitta (born August 3, 1921 in New York City , New York - † March 29, 2016 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American writer , screenwriter , film director and producer of horror films and science fiction , among others . Series.
Life
Frank De Felitta interviewed an African American named Booker Wright about racism in the United States in 1966 for the documentary Mississippi: A Self Portrait . He then lost his job, was overwhelmed by the police and killed. De Felitta's son Raymond filmed this story in a documentary film in 2012 in which Frank participated.
In 1975 he wrote the horror novel Audrey Rose , his most famous work. Two years later took place with Anthony Hopkins star-studded film version , was involved in the De Felitta as a screenwriter and producer. In 1982 he wrote a sequel to the novel, For Love of Audrey Rose .
De Felitta wrote scripts for some episodes of television series and films and worked as a director in numerous productions. He also tried his hand at writing lyrics; one of these songs can be heard in his son Raymond's film Two Family House .
