Frank Engeland

Frank Engeland (born March 12, 1961 in Dorsten , Westphalia ) is a German lawyer , judge and actor in a court show .

Frank Engeland completed his community service and studied in Cologne law . There he passed his first state examination and moved to Florence to study Italian through a legal clerkship . In 1991 he took his second state examination and then worked at the Cologne Regional Court and the Bergisch Gladbach District Court . Subsequently, Frank Engeland was responsible for family, youth, criminal, construction and rental matters at the Cologne District Court . He was also responsible for detention and investigative matters or admissions to psychiatry . Today (2019) Engeland is still working at the Cologne District Court, of which he is a member of the Presidium . In addition, he has taught since 2000 trainees on Law of the judge and the profession.

From September 2, 2002 to September 2007, he played the judge in the court show Das Familiengericht on RTL .
