Frank Lukas Horsthemke (born April 18, 1969 in Braunschweig ) is a German television presenter and producer .

Life

Lukas grew up in Braunschweig ( Lower Saxony ), completed his Abitur in 1988 at the Gaußschule and initially completed an apprenticeship in banking. His coming out was initiated by a brief affair with the then unknown singer and musician Peter Plate . In 1990 he moved to Berlin , where he founded his production company South & Browse in 1999 after having worked in the film and television industry .

In 2002 he was elected host of the first nationwide broadcast German homomagazine, the RTL series anders TREND , which was also co-produced in his company for AZ Media TV, with 55% of all audience votes . He was also the presenter of the six episodes of the single TREND so far .

Since 2003 there has also been a branch in Munich . The company produces programs and features for various television formats such as BosporusTrend , Die Supermamas , Galileo , SAM , taff and We are Family! This is how Germany lives .

At the beginning of 2007, the company DFW Deutsche Fernsehwerke GmbH was founded by private and institutional investors who did not want to be named and Frank Lukas is the managing director. On November 1, 2008, its television station TIMM started . Since its bankruptcy in early 2010, Frank Lukas has largely withdrawn from the company.

In his private life he is firmly in a relationship and lives mainly in Berlin.
