Frank N. Newman
Frank Neil Newman (born April 20, 1942 in Quincy , Massachusetts ) is an American banker who served as a department head in the US Treasury Department from 1993 to 1994 and was then deputy US Treasury Secretary from 1994 to 1995 .
Life
Newman graduated from Thayer Academy prep school and earned his BA in economics from Harvard in 1963 .
After serving in the Clinton administration, Newman returned to the private sector, initially serving as vice chairman of the board of directors of Bankers Trust and later chairman and chief executive officer from 1996 to 1999. After the acquisition by Deutsche Bank , he received a severance payment of $ 100 million . From 2005 to 2010 he was CEO of the Shenzhen Development Bank .
