Franklin Calleja (* 1991 in Malta ) is a Maltese singer .

Life

Franklin Calleja was born in Malta in 1991. He started singing as a child. In 2012 he won the talent show Do not Stop Me Now and since then regularly in the Maltese show Hadd Ghalik! on. A year later he took part with his song Let Your Heart Talk at the Malta Eurovision Song Contest , the Maltese preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest , but did not reach the final. In 2014 he took part again in the preliminary round and reached the semi-finals with the song Still Here . The song was from Alexander Rybak wrote that with his song Fairytale the Euro Vision Song Contest 2009 in Russian Moscow had won. The semi-finals took place on November 21, 2014 at Marsa Shipbuilding in Marsa . He reached the finals and finished fifth with 26 points.

In addition to singing, he also works as a model and photographer .
