Franko Hölzig (* 24. September 1965 in Lommatzsch ) is a former German Volleyball - national team .

Franko Hölzig played in the GDR for TSC Berlin and SC Dynamo Berlin and since 1983 in the national team. He was the first former GDR national player to wear the jersey of the DVV selection. Overall, he played 239 times for the senior national team (135 times for the GDR). With both TSC Berlin and SC Dynamo Berlin he was GDR champion and FDGB cup winner . With the SCC Berlin he became German champion and German cup winner .

Today, Hölzig is the national coach in the Berlin Volleyball Association. His children Max and Annegret also play volleyball successfully.
