Franz-Heinrich Beyer

Franz-Heinrich Beyer (born March 11, 1949 in Warnemünde ) is a German Protestant theologian and religious educator .

Life

After attending school and training as a concrete worker, he studied Protestant theology at the universities of Berlin and Greifswald (first theological exam in 1973; vicariate in Rostock ; second theological exam in 1975). From 1975 to 1981 he was pastor in Kavelstorf near Rostock. Since 1981 he has been a research assistant at the theological faculty of the University of Rostock ; at the same time perception of a preaching assignment in the church. After receiving his doctorate in 1984 (church history) in Rostock and his habilitation in 1990 (practical theology), he was a private lecturer in Rostock from 1990 to 1994 . Since 1995 he has been a professor at the Evangelical Theological Faculty in Bochum for practical theology (religious education).
