Franz-Josef Hamacher

Franz-Josef Hamacher (born May 3, 1935 in Cologne , † April 11, 1996 in Bonn ) was a German baker and politician ( CDU ).

Life

Hamacher attended elementary school and trained as a baker from 1949 to 1952. In 1957 he passed the master craftsman's examination and was a self-employed baker from 1965. From 1969 to 1984 he was a master craftsman in the Neuwied district and from 1969 a member of the board of the Neuwied Chamber of Crafts .

politics

In 1954 Hamacher became chairman of the Junge Union Erpel and was chairman of the CDU local association Erpel from 1962 to 1978. From 1978 he was chairman of the CDU community association Unkel. From 1971 he was district chairman, from 1975 deputy state chairman and from 1985 member of the federal board of the CDU / CSU association of medium-sized companies.

In 1960 he became a member of the Erpel local council, in 1964 of the Neuwied district council and in 1965 of the Unkel municipal council. In addition, he was a member of the administrative board of Kreissparkasse Neuwied .

On June 2, 1986, he replaced Hans Dahmen in the tenth Landtag of Rhineland-Palatinate, to which he was a member until the end of the 1987 electoral term. In the state parliament he was a member of the cultural policy committee.

In 1993 he received the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon.
