The Sparkasse Neuwied is a Rhineland-Palatinate Savings Bank , based in Neuwied . It is an institution under public law and was created in 1991 from the merger of the Kreissparkasse Neuwied and the Stadtsparkasse Neuwied, founded in 1848. On February 1, 2004, the Stadtsparkasse Linz am Rhein was also taken over.
