Franz-Robert Liskow (born May 20, 1987 in Greifswald ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and has been a member of the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania state parliament since October 4, 2016.

Life and work

Liskow passed the Abitur in 2006 at the Alexander von Humboldt Gymnasium Greifswald and from 2006 to 2007 completed the basic military service with the "Fernmeldebataillon 801" in Neubrandenburg . He then completed a degree in business administration from 2007 to 2013 at the University of Greifswald , which he completed with a degree in business administration.

From 2014 until the state elections in 2016 he worked for the West Pomeranian company "Notus energy Wind GmbH & Co. KG".

His father Egbert Liskow is also a CDU politician in the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania state parliament.

politics

Liskow joined the CDU in 2004 and became a member of the citizenship of the Hanseatic City of Greifswald for this party in 2009 , to which he was a member until 2015.

From 2012 to 2018 he was state chairman of the JU in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Liskow has been district chairman of the CDU Vorpommern-Greifswald since 2017. In 2014 he was elected to the Vorpommern-Greifswald district council.

He was in the state elections in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern on September 4, 2016 in the state parliament of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern elected. He achieved 28.2 percent of the first votes in the Mecklenburgische Seenplatte I - Vorpommern-Greifswald I constituency, thus winning the constituency just under, followed by competitors Sandro Hersel ( AfD , 25.1%) and Cathleen Keuert-Demuth ( SPD 18.9 %). Since March 2020, Liskow has been the deputy chairman of the CDU parliamentary group in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
