Francesco Stella (* 1990 in Bari ), alias Franz Alice Stern , is an Italian producer , composer and DJ ; he lives in Berlin . His productions, for example, mix arpeggios by Johann Sebastian Bach with drums and bass from Detroit techno .
biography
At the age of four, Stella began to learn classical composition and piano. When he was nine years old, he discovered electronic music and took an interest in musicians like Kraftwerk and Plastikman . At the age of 13 he began to perform as a DJ in Bari and in 2014 his first release appeared under the name Franz Alice Stern on the German label Trapez . His second release came shortly afterwards on the Get Physical Music label . In 2015 he released several singles and remixes , including Fritz Kalkbrenner - One Of These Days (Franz Alice Stern Remix) . His reinterpretation of Rauschhaus - The End Of All Things landed in 2016 on the 74th place of the bestseller by Traxsource . He has been on tour regularly since 2015. In October 2016 he made his debut at the Amsterdam Dance Event , shortly before signing with the German label Katermukke . In 2018 his new EP White And Black was released on the French label Lost On You , which donates its proceeds to charity.
Private life
Stella studied law at the University of Bari . He has been socially committed since 2013 and supports various humanitarian organizations to fight poverty. He has lived in Berlin since 2015.
