Katermukke is a Berlin House - Label , which by German DJs Dirty Doering was founded and Sascha Cawa in 2011th It is considered one of the most successful German labels in the genre.

In addition to publications on vinyl records , Katermukke occasionally brings out artist albums and compilations on CD .

The label is close to the techno club Kater Blau from Berlin-Friedrichshain and their predecessor clubs Kater Holzig and Bar 25 . The DJs play there regularly. The logo shows a cat's head with an X in the right eye as seen from the viewer.

The label reached the charts of the e-zine resident advisors with several releases .

The founder Dirty Doering , who also represents the label in public and markets all of his productions through Katermukke, achieved particular fame. According to the Austrian newspaper Kleine Zeitung, he is considered "one of the most influential people in Berlin's club scene". The Katermukke label is one of the “most important electronic labels”.
