Franz Boroviczény

Franz Boroviczény (born March 23, 1932 in Vienna ) is an Austrian geologist .

Boroviczény studied geology at the University of Graz and was awarded a Dr. phil. PhD. From 1965 he worked as a geologist at the Federal Geological Institute in Vienna. Boroviczény is a specialist in hydrogeology and most recently headed the hydrogeology department. In 1996 he retired.
